A native Floridian, Tammy Merkison's love for writing began as a child writing creative stories for school projects. Her ability at painting vivid pictures for the reader's imagination made her assignments highly sought after by peer selection for reading aloud. Leaving creative writing behind, Tammy began professionally writing in the aviation maintenance industry writing specs for training of skilled professionals. Never far from her heart was always that desire for crafting words from her imagination.
In 2004, through much prayer, Tammy decided to live her life's passion and
re-enter the world of creative writing, placing one stipulation on herself, to
write realistic fiction with a positive message. 'My goal is to capture realism

A local model and actress, Tammy has appeared in numerous hair and fashion shows
in and around the Central Florida area in addition to television and radio

'Pull the trigger, pull the trigger now!'
Boom! The first shot entered the man's face and exited through the back of his
head. Gray matter from his brain along with skull fragments splattered on the
winter white wall behind him. Boom! The second shot entered the man's heart
causing the remnants of his headless body to fall forward and ooze a puddle of
dark blood surrounding him. Boom! The third and final shot was to the man's
lifeless body to end the quivering that precedes sudden and violent death. In a
matter of three seconds, James 'Blue' Jackson could now add murderer to his
resume.
Shaking with a mixture of fear and excitement, Blue stared at his handy work.
'Let's go nigga, move!' the voice behind him yelled. Blue took one last look at
the lifeless corpse before grabbing the Louis Vuitton duffle bag overflowing
with money and running towards the 1985 Cadillac Seville.
Blue sat in the passenger's seat in a daze. There was no turning back now. He
had gone from practicing law on Wall Street to drug trafficking and murder in a
matter of days. 'What the fuck were you gone do, perform a god dam autopsy? The
bastard is dead. Snap out of it.' Fran continued to yell at Blue as he stared
ahead. 'What's done is done; remember what we came here for.' Blue retorted
with, 'Shut the fuck up and drive.' Fran drove in silence.
As she drove, Blue began to reminisce on the events leading up to today.
