The Reverend Dr. Leonidas A. Johnson is a licensed optometrist and third generation preacher. He has authored several books and made several missionary trips to Africa. Dr. Johnson is the founder of Crystal Fountain Ministries, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit religious corporation and The Crystal Fountain Culture and Vision Center of Reconciliation, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit public benefit organization designed to facilitate the establishment and implementation of the African American Culture Center Ethiopia project. He is also an Education Task Force member of the African American Center for World Mission, Pasadena, California and contributing editor of their Beyond Community Workshop Handbook.

Dr. Johnson was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Illinois Wesleyan University, in Bloomington, Illinois, a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the Southern California College of Optometry, Fullerton, California. He also earned a Master of Arts degree from Talbot School of Theology, Biola University, La Mirada, California.
