Meet Hunter Hayes

Hunter Hayes has an earned degree in communications from Manhattan College. She never believed that writing a book would be in her future, despite the fact that her college career planning professor scribbled words across a page that suggested she consider a career in writing. Back then, Hayes was on the verge into going into the nursing profession, and it wasn't until the very last minute that she decided to change her major. It's a move the first time novelist is glad she made. Hunter currently resides in Manhattan with her niece Brandi, who she is raising.

Ever wondered what it would be like to live life with Shoes On the Otha' Foot?  Well get to stepping and find out inside the pages of the debut novel by Hunter Hayes.  Set in a brownstone in Harlem,  this spicy tale combines infidelity, Sisterhood, and some church.  Promising a little bit of something that almost everyone can relate to.

Please meet Leslie, a twenty-one year old, single, independent who reluctantly finds her weakness in a older thirty-four old workaholic Benjamin, who already lives with another woman and their teenaged son.  Now being the other woman is one thing, but can it ever be enough for the woman who is determined to stick it out and stand her ground, keeping her self-respect in tact all in the name of love?

AND

Rachelle, a thirty-five year old recent divorcee and mother of three, still hoping to meet the love of her life involved with a twenty one years young Anthony, and a thirty-three year old married Eustace.  Driven from disappointment, her search leads her to the one force that's been there all along.

Review
Shoes On the Otha' Foot is a feisty story of love, heartbreak, and decisions. Hunter Hayes delivers a thought provoking sister-friendly story that we may have all found ourselves tangled in. From being the woman on the side, to losing the man you love the most, Leslie and Rachelle take us on their emotional journey of love, life and self-discovery. In this tale of choices, chances, and having faith, we find that sometimes we can't be honest with ourselves until we let God. This story is down to earth, real and proves that we all need to consider what we'd do if the shoes were on the otha' foot.
