Remembering Margo: A Triumphant Life, a Tragic Death, and Life’s Greatest Deception, by Donzella Michele Malone, is the true story of a remarkable woman. Margo Shamberger came from humble beginnings, the youngest of seven children raised in the inner city of Akron, Ohio, who rose to become a popular family practice physician.

At the age of seventeen, she met twenty- seven-year-old Douglas Prade, a police officer on the fast track to becoming chief of police. While setting her sights on attending medical school, Margo continued to date Douglas. Before completing her medical school training, the couple married and eventually had two beautiful daughters.

Over the years, their marriage became laden with marital schism and disrespect. Douglas exerted a tremendous amount of control over Margo’s life. Finally, after eighteen years of marriage and reaching the age of forty, Margo became fed up with Douglas’s control. Changes were inevitable… but at what cost?

In the years following the crime, networks such as HBO Autopsy 6, Hard Copy, A&E Network, True Crime, Discovery Health and MSNBC to name a few; broadcasted specials and hour-long segments of Dr. Margo Prade’s sensational murder, murder investigation and trial. Donzella offers readers “the story behind the story” of a captivating crime that mesmerized viewers across the country. Readers have shared that this book is, “Oprah worthy” and that “It reads like a lifetime movie!” Judge for yourself, go to www.remembermargo.com for more information or to read book reviews.
